Electric vehicle Home Charger Grant
About the Grant
The Electric Vehicle Home Charger Grant is a government funded support scheme assisting residents and homeowners to install an electric vehicle charge point on their property. The scheme provides a grant up to the value of €300 towards the purchase and installation of a home charger unit. Check the eligibility criteria here.
Step by step process
- 1. Complete SEAI Electric Vehicle Home Charger grant application form
- 2. Once approved, you’ll receive a Letter of Offer
- 3. From when you receive your Letter of Offer, you have 6 months to complete the installation of your charge point
- 4. Once installation is complete, you should complete the Installations Details form and Payment Request Form and submit relevant documentation
