About System boilersA System boiler has a pressure gauge on the front of the boiler (or beneath it) attached to one of the valves. This type of boiler heats a hot water cylinder which is normally located in a hot press.
About Combi boilersA Combi (Combination) boiler has 5 (or more) pipes coming out of the bottom of the boiler. It heats water directly from the mains when a tap is turned on, so it doesn’t need tank or cylinder. If you turn on a tap while having a shower then the shower pressure may drop.

About Back boilersThe boiler is usually located in the living room behind the fireplace
